Come Grow with Us at Beth Tikvah Religious School!
Welcome to Beth Tikvah Synagogue's Religious Education!
Religious Education at Beth Tikvah encompasses lifelong learning.
Founded in 1996, the Beth Tikvah Religious School (BTRS) is a partnership between caregivers, students, teachers, and staff. We foster an environment where all students can access a positive, supportive, and quality religious school education. BTRS strives to instill in each and every student a deep appreciation, knowledge, and understanding about their rich Jewish heritage, customs, language, and religious practice. Learning is hands-on, engaging, and teachers support all learning needs so that every student can access their Jewish education.
Lisa Volpigno is our Educational Coordinator. Please feel free to contact her for information on any of our education programs.
Lisa can be reached at 508-616-9037 ext 3.

Rappaport has been involved in family genealogical research for some 50 years. He comes from a family where Jonathan’s father was first generation American-born from Jewish parents who originated from four different shtetls in what is now modern-day Lithuania. His mother was a convert to Judaism and descendent of 300+ years of people living in North America dating back to the 1600s. This includes French Canadian, English, Scottish, and Irish ancestry. The issues of researching each of these various family branches can be quite different and interesting. Jonathan was recently on the board of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston, where he ran JGSGB’s award-winning “Research Sunday” program three times yearly. -
