Children's Services and Babysitting

Dear Parents,

While all children are welcome to attend the services in the main Sanctuary with their families, we do offer Children's High Holiday Services for children Grades K-7. There is an age appropriate service for children in grades K-3 and for grades 4-7. There is no fee for attending these Services, but we request that you sign your child(ren) up in advance.

This year, the children's services will be held at the Beth Tikvah Community Center at 30 Oak St, across the street from our sanctuary and will run from approximately 10:30 am – noon on the first day of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. After the Torah is processed around the sanctuary at the beginning of the Torah service, the children signed up for these services will be escorted in a group to 30 Oak St. by parent volunteers.

At the end of these services, children 8 and under will be escorted to the babysitting room, but only if pre-registered. Older children, and those  who have not been pre-registered for babysitting will be returned to adult services. Children may not leave the Children's service  before the end of that service without a parent.

We will serve a snacks of apples and honey, graham crackers, and juice on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Babysitting is available for children ages 1 through 8 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.  Babysitting this year is through the Westboro Learning Center (WLC) and YOU MUST register in advance with them so they staff properly. You can register with them by clicking HERE

Even though you have registered with WCL, we request that you register with us as well for babysitting below.

The above guidelines have been put in place to assure a pleasurable, nurturing, and safe environment for all the children and we thank you for your cooperation and wish you Happy and Healthy New Year!
