7:00 PM - 8:30 PMBeth Tikvah Community Center, 30 Oak St. Westboro

Beth Tikvah invites the community for an introduction into the fascinating world of genealogical research on Monday evening, January 27, 2020, 7:00-8:30 pm, at Beth Tikvah Community Center, 30 Oak Street, Westborough (snow date January 29).

The presenter, Jonathan Rappaport, has been researching his family for over 40 years including family originating in colonial America, Quebec, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Argentina, and Lithuania as well as extended family members from the Ukraine, Poland, and Galicia.

The workshop will cover the basics of how to get started, where to start looking for information, and a host of valuable websites to further your research. Actual case studies of Jonathan’s family research will be used to illustrate “brick walls” that he encountered and examples of walls he has been able to scale (or at least push back a bit!)

Attendance to the workshop is free, we only ask that you RSVP by January 24 by registering below.  Please enter the names of the attendees in the notes field.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
