Adult Education Workshops
On
January 18 and 25th, Wendy Gonsenhauser and Miri Sharon will each be
offering a workshop with the theme of engaging your family in the
Shabbat experience. Miri
Sharon will be running a cooking workshop on how to build a Shabbat
dinner menu, both meat and pareve. Learn how to bak a challah! Get a
new recipe for chicken soup. In Wendy Gonsenhauser's workshop you will create Challah covers and study some Shabbat texts. The
cost for each workshop is $25 for members, $30 for non-members, which
includes the cost of materials. Or sign up for both workshops for $45
members, $50 non-members We must have at least 6 students registered to hold the workshop. Paid reservations for the workshop are due by January 11th. Future
adult education sessions will be held on February 29th and March 28th.
On February 29th, you will bake hamantaschen and assemble mishloach
manot baskets to give to the community. This activity is free for
members and $5 for non-members. On
March 28th, you will create Pesach centerpieces and discuss how to
create kid friendly seders. The cost for these sessions is still TBD. Schedule of Adult Education Programs
